Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch
5157 Stony Point Rd., Santa Rosa
Reviewed 09/29/12 by Specter
It was the end of a very long Saturday that found us at the Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch just outside Rohnert Park.
Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch is located on a large grassy field perfect for play and picnics, which I particularly appreciated after visiting several patches that day which were quite dusty.
After you've found your pumpkin in their 8 acre patch full of standard orange field pumpkins, there are plenty of free and ticketed activities to keep you entertained. 1 ticket = $1. Visitors can take the tractor ride (4 tickets, free with maze) to the 5 acre corn maze (6 tickets), climb the nine tier hay pyramid, explore the hay fort, play in the corn pit, ride a pony (6 tickets), play tether ball, swing on some pretty cool swings made from tires, have a picnic out on the grass or out of the sun under the tent, grab some drinks and snacks, and perhaps best of all, play on their Kangaroo Jump (5 tickets).
The Kangaroo Jump is a jump pillow, think bouncy house without the house, that is quite large. The best part is it's not limited to just the kids so the whole family can get out on it and older kids and adults can jump on it and really catch some air or force others to catch air.
There are plenty of farm animals to pet at Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch: pigs, geese, a calf, bunnies, goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens and roosters. The petting zoo is 3 tickets.
The Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch accepts both cash and credit and is open late for evening fun.
