Impossible Acres Pumpkin Patch

We came for the pumpkins, but we stayed for the animals. Impossible Acres isn’t so much a pumpkin patch as it is a petting zoo, at least for me it was. Sure, there are a few pumpkins (and a produce stand), but how long can you look at pumpkins before the baby animals pull you away? For me, it was about two minutes.
The downside to the petting zoo (selfishly) was that there was a child’s birthday party going on and the area was overrun by kids. Once I pushed my way through (kidding!) I was able to hold the cutest little baby ducks and also kittens (they were kept well apart from one another)! I also spent a good part of my time watching adorable little baby goats frolicking with one another – never getting too far away from their mommy - butting their little heads into one another and doing a little sideways jump that was just too precious to believe. There were also tiny piglets, a calf, hens, turkeys, and chicks to pet.
If picking out a pumpkin and playing with the animals hasn’t exhausted you, take a ride on the tractor (weekends only) or climb on the straw pyramid.
If you can't find the pumpkin you're looking for at the small patch near the produce stand there is also a large u-pick field just down the road from the animals (signs show you the way) if you can somehow pull yourself away from the furry and feathered cuteness.
