Haunted House of Moss BeachReviewed by: Hauntmistress 10/10/2002 The Hauntmaster and I have been meaning to visit the Haunted House of Moss Beach for the last few years, and I'm happy to say we finally made it! The haunt is located in a residential neighborhood in Moss Beach and very easy to find. I was very impressed (and spooked) by this home haunt. There was a lot of time and effort put into it and I am particularly impressed by the dedication of the family. As much as I love haunts and Halloween, I'm not sure I would be willing to dedicate my Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights throughout the month of October to staff a haunted house in my home year after year. It's also very heart-warming to me that the family does this all for the love of the haunt, and not for money. The haunt is free, and any donations that are received go to UNICEF.
As you walk through the haunt and through black curtains from room to room, there are props sticking out and jumping out at you. Most of the rooms had spider webs or other spooky props hanging from the ceiling, causing you to duck as you walked through. I think that this added to the claustrophobic feel of the haunt. I strongly recommend a visit! Do you think we got this review totally wrong? Agree with us? Or just want everyone to know your thoughts? Then start a discussion of this haunt in our forums!
