The Pirates of Emerson, an 18 year Halloween staple of Fremont, is moving to Pleasanton to offer up its scares at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

We happened to be in Pleasanton the other day and swung by to see if there was any indication as to exactly where on the grounds the new Emerson would be located. Crusing along on Pleasanton and then Bernal Avenues we didn't see any signs but turning on Valley Ave we caught a glimpse of the pirate compound in mid-setup.

Nothing brings on the Halloween spirit faster than seeing one of your favorite haunts being constructed.
