Murder on the Menu at Cetrella

In the mood for a little mystery and some excellent food?  What about a good murder to spice things up? Then make your Dinner to Die For reservations at Cetrella's in Half Moon Bay for the night of Jan. 11, 2005, when Janet A. Rudolph (the Mistress of Mystery) and her Murder on the Menu theatre company present an interactive dining experience.

Murder on the Menu offers you the chance to become involved in an interactive series of murders. You will be given individual clues, obituaries, news clippings, and other information in this participatory experience as you try to piece together who is committing these dastardly deeds! Could you be the murderer, or possibly the nice man sitting next to you?  You will be helped along the way by the cast of the theatre company, all professional actors. The theatre company specializes in improvisational comedy and interactive mystery events and Ms. Rudolph writes the customized mystery scripts designed to entertain and keep you guessing.

Ms. Rudolph is also the director of Mystery Readers International, editor of the Mystery Readers Journal, a teacher of mystery fiction, and has been a columnist for most of the mystery periodicals, so you know you're in capable, mysterious hands!

While your brain is working on solving the mystery, your stomach will be kept busy with a four course dinner by Cetrella's Executive Chef, Lewis Rossman and Executive Sous Chef, Robert Holt.  The cost for the dinner and the entertainment is $85 per person (plus tax and gratuity).  Visit Cetrella's website for reservation information and the complete menu.

Visit the Murder on the Menu website for more information on the event and on Ms. Rudolph.
