Logitech Video Effects Halloween Contest
August 27, 2005
Halloween fun is the theme of the Logitech Video Effects Halloween
Contest, announced earlier in the week by Logitech. The Logitech Video Effects Halloween
Contest is designed to inspire kids and teens to use their imagination to draw who or what they want to be for Halloween. Logitech will turn the drawings submitted by the grand-prize winners into Logitech Video Effects, which are virtual, three-dimensional Halloween masks that anyone can use to turn their own video image into that of the Halloween character. When used with the
Logitech QuickCam Fusion webcam, anyone who downloads the Video Effects can turn their ordinary video communications into video entertainment.

We were a little disappointed that this contest was only open to kids. Guess we can't enter our outstanding artwork.
But feel free to enter it for us. :)
Contestants will draw an original Halloween character and submit it to Logitech by September 30, 2005. The drawing of each of the two grand prize winners, chosen based on creativity, quality and drawing ability, will be transformed into digital Halloween characters, and made available for download on Logitech's website in time for Halloween.
$1000 Worth of Hot Prizes Awarded to Grand Prize Winners
One contestant in the 10 to 13 year-old category and one in the 14 to
17 year-old category will be selected for the grand prize. Each winner will have their drawing transformed into a 3D Video Effect, and will also receive $1000 worth of hot prizes, including a Logitech QuickCam Fusion, and a
Dell personal computer.
Two runners-up will be selected from each age category and will each receive $500 worth of cool prizes, including a Logitech QuickCam Fusion, a Sony
PlayStation Portable (PSP) and Logitech PSP accessories.
