It's already mid-October and the Harvest Festival season is in full swing! Here are a few festivals (including Oktoberfests!) happening this weekend that may interest you! Links to our calendar are provided for all the details you'll need in order to attend. If you're not in a Harvest Festival mood, be sure to take a look at our calendar - there are many other activities happening around the Bay!
Saturday and Sunday, October 15th and 16th
The Alden Lane Fall Festival in Livermore is all about celebrating the fall harvest! Featuring scarecrow building, games, tasty food, a farmer’s market, pumpkins, and much more!
In Fremont, the Ardenwood Harvest Festival offers some down home country fun. Lend a hand in harvesting the Indian corn and popcorn, press cider, and participate in old-time crafts. The blacksmith will be forging, the horse-drawn train running, and the historic Patterson House open for tours! Ardenwood also houses Perry's Family Pumpkin Patch and a huge Haunted MAiZE (it's not haunted during the day, so don't worry!).
At the Campbell Oktoberfest, Spaten Beer will pour an official Oktoberfest beer dating back to 1810! Over 40,000 people are expected to enjoy German foods and more than 100 arts and crafts booths.
The Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival features gargantuan gourds, world-class pumpkin carvers, harvest-inspired crafts, food, a Great Pumpkin Parade featuring this year's winner of the Half Moon Bay Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off, a haunted house, and more!
Oktoberfest by the Bay returns to San Francisco with nonstop music, dancing, singing, and the very best in German food and drink.
The annual Old Sacramento Fall Harvest Days offers Halloween-themed fun, train rides, and family entertainment to usher in Fall. Throughout Old Sacramento, Fall Harvest Days will be in full swing. Scarecrows and other beautiful Fall décor will adorn window displays, boardwalks and streets. There's also a pumpkin patch, a scarecrow contest, horse-drawn hayrides, and more!
Again, if you still haven't found an activity, be sure to take a look at our calendar. There are many activities happening around the Bay!
