16 oz. vanilla, cream cheese or chocolate frosting
4 oz. semisweet baking chocolate
48 black gumdrops
How to Prepare:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together cake mix, pumpkin, water, eggs, oil, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice.
Line muffin cups with liners. Spoon 1/4 cup batter into each muffin cup. Bake 20 minutes and cool completely.
Add food coloring to frosting to make pumpkin colored and frost cupcakes.
Place chocolate in resealable plastic bag. Microwave until chocolate is melted. Cut corner off bag and use to pipe chocolate onto cupcakes in 4-5 concentric circles. Draw 6-8 lines from center to edge using a toothpick to form web design.
Place 1 gumdrop in center of web design. Roll out another gumdrop with rolling pin. Slice thinly and roll into "legs." Place legs onto cupcake, pressing into gumdrop.
